Bellator 249 post-event facts: Cris Cyborg makes more MMA history

Bellator action resumed on Thursday with Bellator 249, which took place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., and aired on CBS Sports Network following prelims on MMA Junkie.

The main event saw featherweight champion Cris Cyborg (23-2 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) defend her title for the first time when she overwhelmed Arlene Blencowe (13-8 MMA, 6-4 BMMA) into a second-round submission.
