UFC 254 Bonuses! Ankalaev Earns $50K For KO Of ‘Hulk’

This year’s final trip to “Fight Island” delivered as usual earlier today (Sat., Oct. 24, 2020) at UFC 254 live on ESPN+ PPV from inside Flash Forum in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., as undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov crushed Justin Gaethje via second-round submission before announcing his retirement from MMA.

In addition to the memorable main event, former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker knocked off red-hot contender Jared Cannonier in a crucial co-headliner, and Alexander Volkov put a stop to heavyweight finisher Walt Harris with a nasty second-round TKO.

Fight fans also got to see a monstrous knockout finish by Magomed Ankalaev in his light heavyweight rematch with Ion Cutelaba, as well as a bantamweight barn burner between rising contenders Casey Kenney and Nathaniel Wood, which Kenney won via decision.
