6 burning questions heading into UFC 255

The UFC’s latest pay-per-view offering features a flyweight showcase with one of the sport’s truly dominant champions and another who has the potential to become the next great one both putting their belts on the line.
In the main event, new men’s titleholder Deiveson Figueiredo  makes his first title defense against upstart Alex Perez.

In the co-feature, the show’s rightful headliner, dominant women’s champ Valentina Shevchenko, looks to make her fourth successful title defense when she puts her title on the line against former Invicta FC champ Jennifer Maia.

Hardcore fans know these two champs are worth the price of admission on their own. But the card features a handful other matchups that might not add up to the star power of a Conor McGregor card, but should provide plenty of bang for the buck for the average viewer.

UFC 255 takes place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN2/ESPN+.
