Former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones once threatened to pop some cherries in Poland, long before he turned in his belt and opted for greener pastures at heavyweight. So if “Bones” won’t come to Jan Blachowicz, then Blachowicz will have to go to Jones.

Might be time to clear out some more space under the Jackson-Wink cage.

“He does everything to not fight against me,” Blachowicz told Submission Radio. “So, what can I do? He promised me this fight after Corey Anderson and after couple of months he went to heavyweight. What the fuck? I believe I catch him in the future somewhere, at 205 or in heavyweight. Or maybe I’ll go to Albuquerque and go to his gym and we do sparring on the mat. But I believe that I have to fight against him somewhere, just for myself.”

Maybe we can get those WBC judges to score it.

Blachowicz is expected to make his Octagon return in March, though UFC has yet to decide if the reigning light heavyweight champ will entertain a super fight against Israel Adesanya, or keep the 205-pound assembly line moving against top contender Glover Teixeira.

Decisions, decisions.
