Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) two-division champion Conor McGregor recently arrived at the fighter hotel on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi, to much fanfare I might add, after spending several days in COVID-19 quarantine.

No word yet if that’s the same hazmat fanboy who screamed for Khabib Nurmagomedov.

McGregor, 32, will make his long-awaited return to mixed martial arts (MMA) against former interim lightweight titleholder Dustin Poirier, a rematch of their UFC 178 collision back in 2014 that ended in favor of then-featherweight “Notorious.”

Let’s hope the trash-talking Irishman heeds this specific warning.

“Mystic Mac” headlines the UFC 257 pay-per-view (PPV) card this Sat. night (Jan. 20, 2021) inside Etihad Stadium and a “spectacular” performance could be enough to lure Nurmagomedov out of retirement, or perhaps send him into a vacant title fight opposite top contender Charles Oliveira.

Or a bleeding Poirier could upset the lightweight apple cart and make all of this moot.
