Vince Cachero vs. Ronnie Lawrence added to UFC Fight Night on Feb. 27

A bantamweight matchup is the latest addition to UFC Fight Night on Feb. 27.

Vince Cachero will face Ronnie Lawrence in an event expected to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Two people with knowledge of the situation informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous since the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.

After winning his first five professional fights, Cachero (7-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) has lost three of his past four. The Hawaiian dropped his UFC debut in a short notice unanimous decision loss to Jamall Emmers in August.

Winner of his past three in a row, Lawrence (6-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) punched his ticket to the UFC with a unanimous decision win over Jose Johnson at Dana White’s Contender Series 31 in September.

With the addition, the UFC Fight Night lineup for Feb. 27 includes:
