‘It Isn’t Personal, This Is Business’

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up to return to the pay-per-view (PPV) market on Saturday (Feb. 13, 2021), to present UFC 258, which will feature a highly-intriguing Welterweight title fight between division champion, Kamaru Usman, and his American Top Team (ATT) training partner Gilbert Burns.

It’s a matchup of two of the best fighters in the world at 170 pounds, with one looking to taste UFC gold for the first time while the other is look to add to his ever-impressive resume by scoring his third title defense.

While the two men have been friends and have nothing but mutual admiration for one another, one they get locked inside the Octagon together, it will be all business with personal feelings set aside. And that’s the theme of the promotion’s newest promo video to hype up the card — which airs exclusively on ESPN+ PPV — inside UFC APEX.

Usman (17-1, 12-0 UFC) hasn’t tasted defeat in seven years and is quickly becoming one of the most dominate Welterweights to ever step foot inside the eight-sided cage. As for Burns, his meteoric rise began in 2017, winning eight of nine including his last six in a row during that time.

In further action, Kelvin Gastelum will take on hard-hitting Ian Heinisch in a Middleweight affair, while Maycee Barber returns from injury to face off against Mexican-born sensation Alexa Grasso.
