‘Black Beast’ Incites Twitter Frenzy With Massive KO

Derrick Lewis sent Twitter into a frenzy last night (Sat., Feb. 20, 2021) at UFC Vegas 19 live on ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, as “Black Beast” smoked No. 2-ranked contender Curtis Blaydes with one of the best timed uppercuts of all time (highlights HERE).

Lewis, who now owns a four-fight win streak in the UFC’s heavyweight division, was not winning this fight early on. Blaydes was landing a ton of leg kicks and forcing Lewis to swing wildly when the two came together. “Black Beast” was able to flip the script in the second by launching a brutal right hand uppercut as Blaydes entered in on a takedown. It was quite beautiful and allowed Lewis to capture an epic knockout sequence.
