Highlights! Canelo Smokes Yildirim In The Third

Canelo Alvarez (55-1-2, 37 KOs) looked as dominant as ever last night (Sat., Feb. 27, 2021) live on DAZN from inside the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., when the Mexican champion defended his WBA, WBC and The Ring super middleweight titles against Turkish contender Avni Yildirim (21-3, 12 KOs).

As expected, Canelo controlled this fight from the opening bell. He was a massive favorite to essentially walk through Yildirim and that’s exactly what he did, despite being the smaller fighter. Canelo took little time dissecting his challenger and putting an end to him in the third round.
