Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was forced to rework its upcoming UFC Vegas 22 fight card on ESPN, scheduled for this Sat. night (March 20, 2021) inside APEX in Las Vegas, after 265-pound bruiser Don’Tale Mayes was not medically cleared to compete.

Stepping in for “Kong” will be heavyweight “Hurricane” Harry Hunsucker, who fans may recognize from a short stint on Dana White’s “Contender Series” last November. The 32 year-old slugger takes on Australian knockout artist Tai Tuivasa.

That’s according to a report from MMA Junkie.

Hunsucker (6-3) was previously stopped by Jared Vanderaa and has not competed since appearing on UFC Fight Pass. Prior to that, “Hurricane” racked up five straight wins, all by way of knockout or submission. As for Tuivasa (10-3), he recently snapped a three-fight losing streak by planishing Stefan Struve.
