Conor McGregor accuses ‘juice head turkey’ Nate Diaz of using steroids, Diaz fires back

Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz continue to trade barbs.

Although McGregor (22-5 MMA, 10-3 UFC) currently is gearing up for his trilogy with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 and Diaz (20-12 MMA, 15-10 UFC) is slated to face Leon Edwards at UFC 262, the pair still has unfinished business.

Just days after Diaz ripped McGregor for suggesting the UFC create his own belt, McGregor took aim at Diaz’s past mishap with the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.

In November 2019, Diaz, who’s known for his stance against performance enhancing drugs, tested positive for LGD-4033, or Ligandrol, which was the result of a tainted supplement. It was Diaz himself who informed the public of his situation and he was cleared just days later after it turned out that his failed drug test was traced back to a plant-based multivitamin that he takes.

McGregor started out his Twitter tirade by posting a video of him in an intense gym workout, questioning why USADA no longer announces failed drug tests. He suggested that tainted supplements are “bullish*t excuses,” asking Jeff Novitzky to clarify Diaz’s situation. McGregor then proceeded to blast Diaz for allegedly not practicing what he preaches, igniting the trash talk between the two.
