UFC free fight: Edson Barboza scores wild, delayed KO over Shane Burgos

Edson Barboza’s highlight reel is undoubtedly one of the best in MMA.

The Brazilian striker has put the lights out in spectacular fashion to many foes throughout his 13-year UFC run, including the always-tough Shane Burgos.

Back at UFC 262 in May 2021, Barboza took on Burgos in what promised to be one of the best fights of the year. And as promised, Barboza and Burgos delivered a spectacular fight that ended with Barboza knocking out Burgos in strange fashion. Barboza tagged Burgos and seconds later the shot took effect and Burgos went down.

Barboza (23-11 MMA, 17-11 UFC) returns this Saturday in the main event of UFC Fight Night 230, which takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The event streams on ESPN+. Barboza takes on Sodiq Yusuff (13-2 MMA, 6-1 UFC) in a featherweight contest.
