Donald Cerrone’s winless skid hit six fights Saturday when he was stopped by Alex Morono in their co-main event clash at UFC on ESPN 24.

Questions about Cerrone’s (36-16 MMA, 23-13 UFC) future viability at the highest level has been part of the narrative for a few fights now. The fact he was halted by a short-notice replacement in Morono (19-7 MMA, 8-4 UFC) in the opening round at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas certainly didn’t help his case.
