The lightweight title is up for grabs Saturday in the UFC 262 main event, but there is a unique circumstance around it.

Khabib Nurmagomedov vacated the title when he retired, undefeated, and stayed that way despite multiple attempts by UFC president Dana White for him to come back. So at UFC 262, Charles Oliveira (30-8 MMA, 18-8 UFC) will take on former Bellator champ Michael Chandler (22-5 MMA, 1-0 UFC) for the vacant belt.

And almost certainly, there will be critics of whoever wins the belt who say he’s not the true champion since he won’t have taken the belt from Nurmagomedov.

So we asked our panel on this week’s episode of “Spinning Back Clique” if the winner can legitimately stake claim as the UFC’s best 155-pounder. George Garcia, Brian Garcia, Nolan King and host John Morgan discuss it in the video above.
