Ending 2021 inactivity, Marcin Tybura eager to reintroduce himself at UFC Fight Night 189

LAS VEGAS – In 2020, Marcin Tybura went on a tear – but in 2021, he’s yet to compete.

At UFC Fight Night 189 on Saturday, Tybura (21-6 MMA, 8-5 UFC) will end the streak of inactivity when he fights Walt Harris (13-9 MMA, 6-7 UFC) in the card’s co-main event. The event takes place at the UFC Apex and streams on ESPN+.

“I switched some things in my head in 2020 (and) got the winning streak,” Tybura told MMA Junkie at a pre-fight media session on Wednesday. “Right now, I just waited almost half of a year to come back here again. But still, it’s great to be here. … I see this as an opportunity for me. I missed the main events and co-main events. It’s great to be back. It’s my job to introduce myself again in the co-main event on Saturday.”
