Kevin Lee has not fought in more than a year, and he will have to wait out even longer after his fight vs. Sean Brady was scrapped.

Kevin Lee vs. Sean Brady will no longer occur at UFC 264: Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor 3.

Brady posted on Thursday that Lee had pulled out of their fight, seemingly due to an injury, which was scheduled to take place at UFC 264 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV on Sat., July 14 via pay-per-view (PPV).

“Unfortunately, I will not be fighting Kevin Lee [on] July 10th. From my understanding, he has suffered an injury and had to pull out of the fight. My team is hoping to re-book the fight for August,” Brady captioned an Instagram post. “Thank you to all my family friends and fans who support me this is just a speed bump on my journey to being [the] champ.”

Lee subsequently confirmed the injury to Ariel Helwani, noting that he hopes to rebook the bout for Aug. 7.

Brady (14-0) is coming off wins over Jake Matthews, Christian Aguilera, Ismail Naurdiev and Court McGee over the last 24 months. In the same period of time, Lee (18-6) suffered a guillotine choke loss to Charles Oliveira after beating Gregor Gillespie via head kick.

UFC 264 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV on Sat., July 14. The PPV card is headlined by a rubber match pitting Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor. Also on the card is Gilbert Burns vs. Stephen Thompson, Greg Hardy vs. Tai Tuivasa, Sean O’Malley vs. Louis Smolka and Carlos Condit vs. Max Griffin, among others.
