Face Off! Brunson Stares Down ‘Gorilla’ In Vegas

Derek Brunson and Darren Till officially made weight for their UFC Vegas 36 middleweight main event, taking place this Sat. (Sept. 4) inside APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, a 185-pound showdown with serious title implications.

The recently-resurgent Brunson (22-7) has enjoyed the role of spoiler over the last few years, putting together four straight wins and shutting down a couple of top prospects in the process, including Edmen Shahbazyan and Kevin Holland, among others.

Till (18-3-1), meanwhile, still has some work to do to prove he belongs among the middleweight elite. After capturing a split decision over Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 244, the 18-3-1 “Gorilla” went down on points to Robert Whittaker in the UFC on ESPN 14 main event.
