UFC 266 ‘Fight Motion’: Alexander Volkanovski’s thrilling win over Brian Ortega in super slow-mo

Alexander Volkanovski managed to escape a few tight submissions to batter Brian Ortega in an all-out war at UFC 266.

UFC featherweight champion Volkanovski (23-1 MMA, 10-0 UFC) retained his title against Ortega (15-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) in the main event last Saturday, battling through a third-round guillotine choke which had him gargling. But Volkanovski put on a show by taking it right to the always tough and durable Ortega, earning the “Fight of the Night” honors.

In the co-main event, UFC flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko (22-3 MMA, 11-2 UFC) put on yet another dominant performance when she stopped Lauren Murphy in the fourth round to retain her title.

You can watch it all unfold in super slow-motion in the UFC 266 “Fight Motion” video highlights above.

Also featured are highlights of Robbie Lawler’s third-round stoppage of the returning Nick Diaz, Merab Dvalishvili’s come-from-behind TKO of Marlon Moraes, Chris Daukaus’ “Performance of the Night” knockout of Shamil Abdurakhimov, Matthew Semelsberger’s 15-second knockout of Martin Sano, and much more.
