Bellator 268 weigh-in results: Grand prix set but one undercard fighter misses weight

PHOENIX – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting from Friday’s official Bellator 268 fighter weigh-ins.

The weigh-ins took place at the Bellator host hotel in in Phoenix. The nearby Footprint Center hosts Saturday’s event, which has a main card on Showtime following prelims on MMA Junkie.

Among those who weighed in were light heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov (14-2 MMA, 6-0 BMMA) and challenger Julius Anglickas (10-1 MMA, 3-0 BMMA), who fight in the main event, which also is a semifinal in the 205-pound tournament. In the co-feature, former champ Ryan Bader (28-6 MMA, 6-1 BMMA) takes on Corey Anderson (15-5 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) in the other tournament semifinal.

All four tournament participants made weight. However one undercard fighter, Bobby Lee (12-6 MMA, 0-2 BMMA), missed the lightweight limit by 0.8 pounds. The miss resulted in a forfeiture of an undisclosed percentage of his purse ahead of his fight vs. Nick Browne (11-1 MMA, 0-0 BMMA).
