The athletes competing on Saturday’s UFC Vegas 40 fight card at UFC Apex in Las Vegas officially weighed in on Friday in ‘Sin City.’
In the main event, No. 3 ranked women’s bantamweight Aspen Ladd moves up the the featherweight division to take on Norma Dumont. Ladd, who missed weight for her last scheduled fight in the bantamweight division, weighed in at 145 pounds while Dumont tipped the scales at 145.5.
All the athletes that weighed in made weight, but one fight was cancelled.
Julian Marquez withdrew fro his middleweight match against Jordan Wright due to “non-Covid health issues” without weighing in. Due to the fight cancellation, the featherweight bout between Nate Landwehr and Ludovit Klein was moved to the main card.
