Johnny Walker’s struggles continued Saturday when he suffered a highlight-reel loss at the hands of Jamahal Hill in the UFC Fight Night 201 main event.
Walker (18-7 MMA, 4-4 UFC) lost for the fourth time in his past five fights when he got dropped and stopped by Hill (10-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) in the opening round of the light heavyweight headliner, which took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
The Brazilian came into the UFC on a red-hot run with three consecutive first-round knockouts, but he’s now gotten his hand raised just one time in the past three years. Still, though, Walker remains a fan favorite and a beneficial member of the 205-pound weight class.
