USA TODAY Sports/MMA Junkie rankings, Feb. 22: Jamahal Hill enters top 15

The light heavyweight division now has a new face in the rankings.

Jamahal Hill (10-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) impressed in the main event of UFC Fight Night 201 in Las Vegas by putting Johnny Walker (18-7 MMA, 4-4 UFC) down and out with a vicious punch in the first round. The finish marked his second-straight opening frame knockout, continuing to make good on his claim that he possesses the best hands in the UFC.

Kyle Daukaus (11-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) also turned heads by snatching up the neck of Jamie Pickett (13-7 MMA, 2-3 UFC) with a buzzer-beating, first-round D’Arce choke at the UFC Apex on Saturday. With performances like that, he’s certainly one to watch in the middleweight division moving forward.

At Bellator 274, the first non-title, five-round fight in the promotion’s history went the distance. After an intense slugfest, Logan Storley (13-1 MMA, 8-1 BMMA) picked apart Neiman Gracie (11-3 MMA, 9-3 BMMA), and made his call for a rematch with the Bellator welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov.
