Michael Bisping is a UFC Hall of Famer. He’s a former UFC middleweight champion. He’s the Season 3 winner of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series.

But he’s also the victim of one of the most brutal knockouts in UFC history.

If you’ve ever watched a UFC knockout reel that encapsulated the most iconic finishes in company history, there’s no question Dan Henderson’s brutal win over Bisping at UFC 100 in July 2009 would be prominently placed.

After coaching against each other on “TUF,” Henderson finally got his hands on Bisping and scored one of the cleanest punches and diving follow-up shots to ever take place in the octagon. For some, it was the outspoken Bisping getting his comeuppance. For others, it was frightening moment.

Although Bisping never wanted to be put away in such devastating fashion, he admits it was a critical moment in his career and life. It changed things for the better, and he explained how in the latest episode of MMA Junkie’s “Legend 2 Legend” documentary series, hosted by former UFC site coordinator Burt Watson.
