Video: Was that really the end for explosive knockout artist Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley?

Paul Daley wrote the final chapter of his MMA career at Bellator 281, or did he?

Fighting at home in London at SSE Arena, Daley (44-18-2 MMA, 9-6 BMMA) created what some would consider the perfect ending to a professional career that started in 2003. Daley overcame grappling challenges presented by Wendell Giacomo to deliver one last signature “Semtex” style knockout in the second round.

A fighter can’t ask for a much better swan song than scoring a knockout victory on home soil. However, retirements in MMA rarely stick, especially when a fighter appears to have plenty left in the tank. Is this really the end? Would you be surprised to see Daley return for another fight?

Our “Spinning Back Clique” panel of Mike Bohn, Nolan King and Brian “Goze” Garcia discuss Daley’s future with host “Gorgeous” George Garcia.

You can watch their discussion in the video above, or check out this week’s full episode below.
