Orion Cosce vs. Blood Diamond scrapped from UFC 275 in Singapore

UFC 275 has lost a welterweight matchup.

Orion Cosce (7-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) vs. Blood Diamond (3-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) has been scratched from the June 11 event in Singapore. The news was first reported by BJPenn.com.

Cosce subsequently took to social media to address the news that the matchup has fallen apart for the second consecutive time after their initial meeting at UFC 271 was canceled.

Unfortunately the news is true that my fight has been cancelled for #ufc275 Gonna keep training and stay ready for the next opportunity. Hopefully we can get rebooked as soon as Mathetha is healthy or someone else. Trying to fight a couple times this summer. All good🐉👊.”

Cosce, a Dana White Contender Series graduate, suffered his first-career loss in his promotional debut when he was stopped by Phil Rowe at UFC on ESPN 28 last July.
Diamond also fell short in his UFC debut. The City Kickboxing fighter was submitted in the first round by Jeremiah Wells, who replaced Cosce this past February at UFC 271.

  • Champ Glover Teixeira vs. Jiri Prochazka – for light heavyweight title
  • Champ Valentina Shevchenko vs. Taila Santos – for women’s flyweight title
  • Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs. Zhang Weili
  • Jack Della Maddalena vs. Ramazan Emeev
  • Rogerio Bontorin vs. Manel Kape
