Jon Jones posts training video, says he’s feeling sharp and exactly where he needs to be

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones hasn’t fought since Feb. 2020, but appears to be close to returning to the octagon.

Jones relinquished the 205-pound championship in August 2020 and set his sights on transitioning to the heavyweight division to pursuit another divisional title. His heavyweight debut seems to be on the horizon after a long time waiting. He’s rumored to be facing former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, but the fight promotion hasn’t officially announced the matchup.

On Thursday, Jones posted a video hitting pads with his bare hands and said that he’s ‘feeling sharp.’

“Right now I’m exactly where I need to be, I’m excited to see myself in a few months when things actually start to ramp up. Feeling sharp across the board,” Jones wrote.
