On Monday, for the first time in American history, a former president’s residence was raided by the FBI.
The FBI executed a search warrant at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. The search was reportedly part of an investigation into the handling of presidential documents, including classified documents.
UFC president Dana White and the former president have been longtime friends. During Tuesday’s Dana White’s Contender Series post-fight press conference, White was asked about the search on Trump’s property.
“It’s madness. The whole world is crazy right now,” White said. “I don’t know what to think, and I don’t know enough about it. I haven’t talked to him. I’ve only seen what bits and pieces on the news, so I don’t know exactly what’s going on. I’ll probably call him in the next couple of days.”
“I can think of about, without getting political right now, and getting into all this f**king bulls**t, there’s ten other people’s houses that probably should have been raided before his that haven’t happened, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out,” White added.
