Bellator 284 medical suspensions: Neiman Gracie among three ‘indefinite’ designations after KO

Belaltor 284 took place last Friday at Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D., and featured 11 bouts of MMA action.

Atop the card, Goiti Yamauchi (28-5 MMA, 14-4 BMMA) had a signature moment of his career when he knocked out Neiman Gracie (11-4 MMA, 9-4 BMMA) by connecting with a vicious uppercut and finishing with follow-up punches in their welterweight main event.

As a result of injuries sustained, each fighter on the card received a medical suspension from the South Dakota Athletic Commission, which oversaw Bellator 284. MMA Junkie acquired the list from the commissioning body Tuesday. The list included suspension durations but not medical specifics.

Three fighters received “indefinite” suspension designations, including Gracie, along with Steve Mowry and Tyson Jeffries.

Scroll below to see the medical suspensions handed out to each fighter. It’s important to note fighters can return to competition sooner than the allotted suspension if they are cleared by a doctor.
