Video! Watch Rousey Debut For Ring Of Honor

Ronda Rousey has once again changed up combat homes, as the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight queen made her Ring of Honor (ROH) debut during a Friday taping in Los Angeles.

While most know Rousey from her days competing inside of the Octagon the women’s mixed martial arts (MMA) pioneer has been killing it as a professional wrestler over the past few years. Rousey has done well for herself under the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) banner, but surprisingly parted ways with the pro wrestling juggernaut earlier this year.

Fight fans were somewhat shocked. Rousey hinted at possible retirement, but on Friday she made her official crossover to the ROH ring. It was just the second time Rousey has made a pro wrestling appearance since leaving WWE after Summer Slam this past August.

Rousey, who will likely never return to the Octagon again, has yet to officially sign with ROH. The pro wrestling promotion is owned by Tony Khan, who is the current President and CEO of All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Maybe that could lead to Rousey making her first appearance under the AEW banner later this year as well.
