LAS VEGAS – Before UFC 300 arrives, Marina Rodriguez spoke to reporters at Wednesday’s media day as she gets set to meet fellow Brazilian and former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade at T-Mobile Arena.
Rodriguez (17-3-2 MMA, 7-3-2 UFC) discussed the meaning of her fight with Andrade (25-12 MMA, 16-10 UFC) to her title chances, the significance of competing on the milestone UFC 300 event, the co-headlining title fight between Zhang Weili and Yan Xiaonan, and more.
“Regardless of what happens, I’m gonna call out a Chinese fighter,” Rodriguez said.
