It may not be a pay-per-view (PPV) event, but Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is looking to bolster UFC Vegas 17 — set to go down on Dec. 19, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada — as much as possible to end 2020 with a bang.

According to MMA DNA, two more fights have been added to the year-end event, including a Light Heavyweight bout between heavy hitters Misha Cirkunov and Ryan Spann. Cirkunov hasn’t competed in over a year and was last seen defeating Jimmy Crute in September of 2019.

Spann, meanwhile, is looking right his ship after getting brutalized by Johnny Walker a few months ago, losing to the Brazilian bomber via first round knockout at UFC Vegas 11 (see it again here). The loss snapped Spann’s eight fight win streak, four of which came inside the Octagon.

Also added to the card is a women’s Flyweight bout that will see Sijara Eubanks face off against Pannie Kianzad. Eubanks is looking to get back in the win column after losing to Ketlen Vieira this past September, snapping her two-fight skid in the process. Kianzad, on the other hand, is looking to extend her win streak to three after taking out Bethe Correia and Jessica-Rose Clark in consecutive bouts.

UFC Vegas 17 will feature a Welterweight showdown between Khamzat Chimaev and Leon Edwards, while Marlon Moraes and Rob Font co-headline the ESPN+-streamed event. In further main card action, Stephen Thompson returns to face Geoff Neal, while Belal Muhammad faces Dhiego Lima at 170 pounds.
