McGregor, Diaz Reignite Feud

On the five-year anniversary of their first fight at UFC 196, Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz got into a bit of social media spat. What started as a simple post by an MMA journalist comparing the drastic difference in “Notorious” at Featherweight as opposed to Welterweight, quickly went south.

McGregor responded to the post by simply saying “Done it all, still here,” which caught the attention of Diaz, who responded with a profanity-laced tirade. In the process, the Stockton slugger took aim at Dustin Poirier, the man that beat “Notorious” at UFC 257.

“I fucked you up and u never got it back but u acted like u did now u get a rematch every time u get your ass beat like a spoiled Little bitch would. I’ve done it all and I’m still here plus the guy who just beat you ass is a scared Lil bitch also fuck u both,” wrote Diaz.

As for Poirier, he has been trying to lock down a fight against Diaz for quite some time now, and even went as far as to says he’d move up to Welterweight to fight him. Despite the callouts, nothing has ever come of it.

What will likely happen, though, is a trilogy fight between McGregor and Poirier — which Diaz seems to have an issue with — expected to go down sometime this summer. A third fight between “Notorious” and Diaz had been teased for some time in order to break that tie, as well, but it seems it won’t be happening anytime soon.
