UFC 273 also has one hell of a featured bout full of intrigue in Gilbert Burns vs. Khamzat Chimaev, which has everyone talking.

A big reason for the intrigue? The odds.

Despite being 7-1 since December 2018 with his only loss to current welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, Burns is going in as a big betting underdog at +370, with Chimaev coming back as a huge -550 favorite (via Tipico Sportsbook).

While Chimaev has been nothing short of impressive going 4-0 in the UFC (10-0 overall) while absorbing just two significant strikes since his debut in 2020, the fact remains that his level of competition hasn’t been all that. Burns represents a major leap and without a doubt his biggest test.

So is Chimaev that good, or did the oddsmakers fumble the ball here and disrespect Burns? That’s what we asked our “Spinning Back Clique” panel of Mike Bohn, Matthew Wells, and Brian “Goze” Garcia, who discussed the topic with host “Gorgeous” George Garcia.
