Joe Rogan livid over Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou decision: ‘Judge should go to jail’

UFC commentator, podcast host, and comedian Joe Rogan was livid about the Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou decision.

“Francis Ngannou had never had a boxing match ever in his life, had zero boxing matches, but he was the UFC heavyweight champion, knocked down Tyson Fury in the third round, beat him up in the eighth round,” Rogan said on Tuesday’s “The Joe Rogan Experience”

“Most people, including me, thought he should’ve won the decision, including most boxers, most boxing pundits. He lost by one point on one judge’s scorecard. He won on one judge’s scorecard, and another judge, who should go to jail, had it 96-93 for Tyson Fury, which is f**king outrageous,” Rogan continued.

Fury and Ngganou boxed in a celebrity-filled Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia last Saturday.  Ngannou reportedly earned $10 million not including pay-per-view buys.  It was the biggest payday of his fighting career.  Ngannou said that he made more than he did in all of his UFC fights combined.

“We thought (Fury) was going to run him over because he’s the boxing heavyweight champion,” Rogan said. “‘There’s no way this guy can box with me,.’ He (Fury) even said at the beginning of the fight, ‘It’s time to go to school,’ and then Francis said at the end of the fight, ‘You are a sh*tty professor.’”

Ngannou, who is signed to the PFL for his MMA fights, may be the most sought after boxer in the world right now.  Whether he fights MMA again is unknown.  He stands to make much more money inside the boxing ring than in the cage.
