Female Reporter Lets Aspinall Off The Hook After VERY Wild Question

Tom Aspinall just became the interim UFC heavyweight champion and the budding English superstar already finds himself in some hot (or maybe just lukewarm) water.

Earlier this week, video footage surfaced of Aspinall doing an interview with female mixed martial arts (MMA) reporter, Nine-Marie Daniele. The former model-turned-reporter usually asks some unorthodox questions to try to put fighters on the sport, but this time around she was the one left scrambling for answers.

In a true cringe moment that we rarely see from Aspinall the UFC champion asked Daniele a wildly inappropriate question. Check it out below:

“Have you ever been fingered by a MMA fighter before?” asked Aspinall, which left Daniele speechless.

The MMA media, which misses nothing these days, has been hammering Aspinall publicly ever since. Aspinall is a pretty standup guy so most were thinking there was added context behind his line of questioning, but we didn’t know for sure.

Luckily, Daniele has come out and clarified the comments made by the interim UFC heavyweight king. According to the controversial reporter, Aspinall was just being funny as the two follow one another on Instagram.

“I absolutely love Tom Aspinall’s humor! The reason he asked me that crazy question is because we follow each other on IG and sees all the crazy weird questions my followers ask me. @AspinallMMA is funny AF and he didn’t offend me AT ALL! He was trying to get a reaction out of me and he got a good one lol. I asked him some crazy ass questions too!”

Luckily for Aspinall, he seems to be in the clear. After demolishing heavyweight juggernaut Sergei Pavlovich via first-round knockout earlier this month at UFC 295 to claim the interim strap Aspinall is on the cusp of MMA stardom. He can’t afford to be held down by cringe moments like this one so hopefully he tightens up his questioning moving forward.
