UFC Fight Night 201 weigh-in results: One fighter heavy, but 12-fight lineup set

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC Fight Night 201 fighter weigh-ins, where all but one fighter made weight without issue.

The weigh-ins took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The same venue hosts Saturday’s card, which streams on ESPN+.

Among those weighing in were Johnny Walker (18-6 MMA, 4-3 UFC) and Jamahal Hill (9-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC), who meet in the light heavyweight main event. In addition, Kyle Daukaus (10-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) takes on short-notice replacement Jamie Pickett (13-6 MMA, 2-2 UFC) in a 195-pound catchweight co-feature. All four made weight without issue.

Gabriel Benitez (22-9 MMA, 6-5 UFC) did miss weight for his featherweight matchup with David Onama (8-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC). Benitez weighed 148 pounds on his first trip to the scale and was not given any additional time to cut. He was subsequently fined 30 percent of his purse, but the bout will go on as scheduled.
