Alan Baudot vs. Josh Parisian booked for UFC’s June 25 card

A heavyweight bout is the latest addition to the UFC’s June 25 lineup.

Alan Baudot (8-3 MMA, 0-2 UFC) is set to take on Josh Parisian (14-5 MMA, 1-2 UFC) on what is expected to be a Fight Night card, likely at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Both fighters announce the matchup on their social media channels.

Baudot, who trains with fellow heavyweight Ciryl Gane at the MMA Factory in Paris, will be looking for his first win in the UFC. He debuted with the promotion in October 2020, but was stopped with a first-round TKO by Tom Aspinall.

In July 2021, Baudot was stopped by Rodrigo Nascimento with a second-round TKO, but the fight was flipped to a no contest due to a failed drug test from Nascimento. In February, Baudot again failed to get into the UFC win column when he lost a unanimous decision to Parker Porter.

Parisian punched his ticket to the UFC with a first-round TKO win over Chad Johnson on Dana White’s Contender Series in August 2020. But in his promotional debut later that year, he dropped his own decision to Porter. He bounced back with a split decision win over Roque Martinez in June 2021, but in late 2021 he was stopped in by Don’Tale Mayes with a third-round TKO.

With the addition, the UFC’s June 25 lineup now includes:

  • Amir Albazi vs. Tim Elliott
  • Vanessa Demopoulos vs. Jinh Yu Frey
  • Alan Baudot vs. Josh Parisian
